Fell to love's dark embrace
The glint in its eye
Was irresistable
Yet full of malice
However nothing kept me from being
Engulfed in its stomach
Digesting me
And letting me
Fall to pieces
It's more like
Watching your heart being eaten away
Yet wanting to give itself to someone
Who will never cherish it
Hold it tight
Almost like
Kissing in the rain
But the person being a one-night stand
Instead of a lover
And them taking everything from you
And you're left
Naked, alone
Kind of like
Experiencing withdrawal
From a drug that has you hooked
On a leash, whispering,
'You're mine forever,
You can't escape.'
Nothing like
Holding them in your embrace
Passion slithering on your skin
Lust smiling, watching, pulling strings
Keys of the heart locking you both together
Knowledge whispering, 'You're safe.'
Sort of like
Knowing Death is near
Calling your name
Making you shiver, rigid
Completely aware
Of its intent
Probably like
Crying over a lost pet
But thinking the pet
Cared for you
To it, you were simply a servant
Paying it attention
Serving it food
And it watches you
Like a master
Definitely like
A parent walking out on you
A sibling falsely caring for you
A friend betraying you
A child running away from you
Exactly like

A Letter To A Friend
Congratulations, I suppose is in order.
Unintended consequences underway,
And time reveals someone really did care.
Now a perfect stranger.
I’ve missed and mourned you like the dead.
I’ve asked myself a million times, "What the fuck did I do…?"
I’ve grieved for a year, and my heart still aches.
Just another passing friendship, I hadn’t realized it at first.
I shrugged it off in the beginning, we both had ‘better’ things to do.
I’ve run into your folks since then, but hardly had the heart to greet them.
Is this what’s become of us? It seems I was right before I knew it to be true.

The Key to a Boy's Heart
No sooner had hoary hair and scarlet eyes caught in the boundaries of her own vision, did her heart accelerate; fifty tons more adrenaline than a normal human body should contain dumping into her blood stream.

What the Garbage Men Took
This grip the world has got on me; this never ending loop
If there was a hole that was big enough out, By God! I would try to squeeze through
The trash trucks rumble and screech and growl
They snarl at the morning birds, who chirp at their dirty scowls
The phone rings, and we can’t pick up. It’s just another debt left unpaid
Everybody is looking for money. We’re just looking to be saved.
The tires crunch and crawl over pavement, their bodies crush the waste
Evil, giant creatures, that never seems to like what they taste
I want to fly like the morning birds, free and enjoy the song
They always seem to hear in their head,

this poem is surprisingly on how i feel personally xD........it really sucks though, to know that you love someone when you dont know if theyll ever love you back the same way........
I dont know, i think i was in a rather mellow/ sulky mood today plus it was raining xD, so i guess this was part of the reason
itz kind of weird actually writing again, after a long absence.........
