So THIS is Kanoko. I like the loney and hurt feel of the picture, makes one feel sorry for him.

Some words of friendly advice, if you would like? o: Try softening the chin to more of a curve than a point and thickening the arms. Also, the ears just look like they are perched on top of the head, try lowering them slightly and making it look like they are coming out of the hair. Afterall, the ears are connected to the skull if they are of any use!

But anyway. I really do like him. <3 Ypu'll have to fill me in on his story.

well his mother was abusive and his father never home (pretty much anyway), he became mute because his told him that if he spoke or even looked at an elder or girl he would be slapped because somehow they knew he was gay....plus he wears long sleeves cuz once his mother sliced his arm open, thatz why hez holding his arm.....

like i said im not afantastic drawer.....if only my thoughts could translate to my hands....well the arms if i try to make them bigger they look weird to me....but i understandthe view though....and the ears were suggested to me earlier by Brad but when i did try it it turned out wrong.....maybe i just need more practice......

if you would call me on my cell from your cell or from house to house itd be 10x easir cuz as it stands...my keyboard isnt properly working so i have to use the onine keyword which is slower and like hell to use.....

Yeah, I understand what you mean, lots of times it does look weird when you're trying to do things like that. Perhaps get an artist's anatomy book? I got one and it helped me with proportions a TON. Yes yes yes! Practice practice practice! Practice like a crazy person! D:

trust me i would too....though when i think about it, Ritsuka's mother (from Loveless) was kinda the same way.....except the Ritsuka-not-being-gay-(until later maybe im only on the 3rd book) part

this one's pretty good, too. i like the pose (i could never pull off a pose like that no matter how much I tried T.T) I think that maybe the shoulders could be angled downward somewhat, the arms a little closer to the body, and maybe give him some hair behind his neck. (sorry I'm kind of criticizing your hard work maybe a little too much ToT let me know if I'm being too harsh)

again the shoulder thing is kind of out of reach......and the hair i noticed AFTER i scanned it so the one in the sketchbook does but only after the scanned version i decided i wouldnt care about scanning it again because of the time it takes for my cp to load files for dA so the scanned Kanoko is doomed to have half a head of hair xD

what about the other Kanoko drawing scanned thrice (three times)?
